Why have a funeral?

A funeral is symbolic, allowing family, friends and acquaintances to come together to share and express not only their grief, sadness, deepest thoughts and feelings but also the love, memories and happy times that we shared with them.  To mourn, cry, laugh, talk, embrace and remember their connection to us. A funeral helps us acknowledge that our loved one has passed away, but more important that they have lived.

Funerals allow us to say "farewell" and can offer continuity and hope for those who are left with the sadness of loss.  Funerals provide a support system for the family, friends, colleagues, and community, giving testament to the life of the ones love.

A Funeral service is not only to recognise the immense legacy that your loved one has left, but is an important part of supporting those who are left to continue to live without them, providing an opportunity to take the next step and look to move forward with the sadness that was emotionally unresolved when your loved one passed away.

Unique

A funeral is driven by the wishes, beliefs and values of you, your family and your loved one. Everyones life story is unique and their funeral should reflect that with a bespoke tribute.

Personal

Your loved ones funeral will be influenced by the memories, music, actions, stories and photos of their life and the person who they are.

Meaningful Farewell

The tribute will be dedicated, personal and significant, the story and celebration of their life. Their funeral a chance to reflect and share the life of the person you love and miss, to reinforce and seal the memories of them in our hearts and thoughts forever.

Commemoration and Memorial Services

At times people are unsure as to the options available to them on how they may be able to commemorate and remember their loved one.

Deciding on the most suitable ceremony for your loved one is not always easy and may take time, but I'm here if you wish to talk over your wishes.

I can support you with organising a private dedication ceremony, whether this be at a dedicate memorial or a place that holds a special significance to you and your loved one. It may be your wish to remember your loved on an important anniversary or if you have not been able to host a funeral service, look to arrange a memorial service in a venue of your choosing.

Your loved one may have chosen to not hold a funeral to commemorate their life at the time of their passing. It may be that you wish to still celebrate their life, bringing together everyone whose lives were enriched by your loved one being in them.  It is possible to hold a commemorative service at a location of your choice, where we can come together to support one another and remember with fondness and love that you were blessed to have shared.
